the United States, its officers and agencies in the Northern District
of Ohio. Assigned as lead attorney responsible for all pleadings, discovery,
negotiations, court appearances and trials in all areas of general
civil litigation. Practice areas included: torts, civil rights,
employment discrimination, eminent domain, Medicare, social security,
fraud, collections, foreclosures, asset forfeiture and Federal
program cases. Special emphasis focused on environmental enforcement cases and
Federal programs class actions. Coordinator of environmental litigation
from January, 1989 for remainder of tenure. Extensive experience
in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Awarded Special Achievement Award for Sustained Superior
Performance of Duty: October 17, 1983 and January
3, 1989. These awards were case specific: 1983 award for prosecution
of an environmental case, and 1989 award for defense of Medicare
program case. Named Woman of Achievement, 1983 by
the Cleveland Federal Executive Board and the Federal Women ’ s
